The HGC Humidity Generator and Controller is a unique and flexible solution for delivering an accurate relative humidity environment for many applications. Especially useful for conditioning samples for laboratory and QA testing, the HGC can control the humidity of a chamber of up to nominally 2,000 ml volume to a relative humidity of 85%.

Principle of Operation:

Air is pumped through a desiccant built into the instrument. Automated valving, controlled by a humidity sensor located at the sample site, is used to divert some gas flow through a water reservoir before being pumped to the sample. This feedback function ensures that the humidity selected is the real humidity at the sample site.

Features:

Simple software operation through Microsoft Excel™
Easy tie in with other equipment
Unique “sample site” humidity feedback control
Easy portability with compact design
Heated transfer line to avoid condensation

Applications include:

Thermogravimetry (TGA) Pharmaceuticals
Atomic Force Microscopy (AFM) Foods
Spectroscopy Polymers
Thermo-Mechanical Analysis (TMA, DMA, DTMA) Biologics
Rheology Petrochemicals
Aerospace Defence
Healthcare Forensics
Medical Electronics
Nuclear Ceramics
Nanomaterials Many, many others
