We design and supply extrusion dies in a range of materials for rheological testing (rheometry), laboratory extrusion, and other applications. Please contact us with details of your requirements. Celsum Technologies can supply precision-machined extrusion dies with specific external geometry to suit your rheometer, in materials such as tool steel, stainless steel, tungsten carbide and many others.
As our animated* diagram above indicates, we can provide dies with different diameters, bore lengths, entrance angles and external geometries. We can supply you with certificates of metrication, and meet the tolerances demanded by testing standards.
As well as parallel-bore dies, we can supply also dies with profile bores, such as the hyperbolic profiles in our diagrams, above, tapered or stepped bores, etc. We can add O-ring grooves to help seal against leakage if you wish.
Why not let us quote for your extrusion dies? We can supply dies for most capillary rheometers and extruders. Our prices are very competitive, and we are always willing to provide you with the dies that you want, rather than just offering sizes from a standard list. Send us a sketch or description of your design, either by email, fax or mail, and let us know in which material you would like it made. We can also supply other accessories for capillary rheometers, such as cleaning mesh, pressure transducers, slit dies, backpressure dies for pressure coefficient of viscosity, die swell monitors, infra-red pyrometers for viscous heating, and others.
