Introduction
The DSCUSB is a compact, high performance digital signal conditioner with USB connectivity providing high resolution data for
portable applications. Simply by plugging the device into a PC, data
can be extracted from most strain gauge bridge input sensors and
acquired by software which allows data manipulation. No additional power supply is needed.
Although ideal for a 1 to 1
interface, multiple DSCUSBs may be connected to a single USB port via a suitable hub. A choice of MODBUS RTU, ASCII and MANTRABUS protocols at industrial stability are currently available.

Precision vs Speed of Reading:
Generally, the higher the precision required from
an analogue-to-digital system, the slower the speed of conversion to digital
format. The DSCUSB allows you to select the resolution and speed of reading
that you require according to the Table below:
