The FMT Series of miniature washer strain gauge load cells was designed to measure compressive forces in clamping and screwing applications, and is available in standard ranges from 0 - 20kN through to 0 – 320kN. The sensor design reduces the hysteresis and sensitivity variations associated with frictional torque generated during tightening. The FMT has a high stiffness and can be used in static and dynamic applications. ">

FMT Miniature Washer Strain Gage Load Cells

FMT Series Annular Washer-type Strain Gauge Compression Load Cells

The FMT Series of miniature washer or annular strain gauge load cells was designed to measure compressive forces in clamping and screwing applications, and is available in standard ranges from 0 - 20kN through to 0 – 320kN. The sensor design reduces the hysteresis and sensitivity variations associated with frictional torque generated during tightening. The FMT Series has a high stiffness and can be used in static and dynamic applications.

Celsum Technologies offers a range of conditioning electronics which will suit the FMT. The DCell and DSC are digital amplifiers which connect directly to computer systems. Alternatively, there are the InCell and SGA analogue amplifiers, and a range of process indicators and controllers. Please do browse our web site at www.celsum.com, or contact us for more details,

Technical Specifications:

FMT Miniature Washer Annular Strain Gage Washer Load Cell          FMT Miniature Annular Washer Force Sensor - Dimensional Diagram

Installation Precautions :

Force should be distributed evenly over the surface of the sensor
Surfaces in contact with the sensor should be uniform and parallel
It is recommended that washers are mounted between the sensor and surfaces
