| HGC Humidity Generator and Controller for Precise Sample Conditioning |

The HGC Humidity Generator and Controller is a unique instrument that actually measures the humidity with a sensor located near to the sample, and then controls the humidity to the desired value, up to 85% RH. The unit is computer controlled, and may be programmed to control the humidity to a fixed value, or can ramp the humidity between preset limits, or can execute a series of pre-defined humidity steps. | Workability Tester For Fresh Cement And Concrete Is Fully Controlled |

Celsum Technologies has introduced the new version of the CTPT Two-Point Workability Tester for fresh cement and concrete and similar materials. The CTPT allows the force needed to agitate the sample over a range of speeds to be measured. From these data and with calibration, a plot of force against speed may be constructed. The slope of the resulting graph gives a measure of the viscosity or plasticity of the specimen, and the intercept with the force axis the yield or slump characteristics. The instrument may be operated manually or under computer control, with speed control allowing constant speed, speed ramps, or a "staircase" speed program. The machine is fitted with interlocked guards, and is supplied complete with control computer and software. |

| Extend Serial Link Communications using Radio Modems |

Celsum Technologies is offering state-of-the-art serial radio modems, which will allow communication over an RS232, RS422 or RS485 serial link at distances of 3 kilometres or more. The radio modems may be used licence free at broadcast power outputs of up to 0.5 Watt (in the UK), and may be used at greater distances by obtaining a licence. In permitting communications on serial links (at data transfer rates up to 19,200 baud), the radio modems complement Celsum Technologies' range of strain gauge conditioning and process control instrumentation. |

provides digital and analogue IO to a radio

Digital Strain Card to connect a load cell to a computer
in novel, networked, coin-operated weighing scales, the VideoMedia®
from Avisis PLC, which are appearing in major supermarkets.
The on-board computer allows live promotional messages to be played
whilst the scale is not in use. The
DSC provides a very cost
effective way of providing accurate digital data from a strain gauge
device to a computer system via a serial (com) port without the
need for expensive analogue-to-digital cards. The DSC
is fully programmable, may be configured to output data in engineering
units compensated for temperature drift and non-linearity, and has
recently been enhanced with the launch of the New Generation
