    Series 350
Single Fibre Sapphire Window Optical Transmission Probes with ½"-20-UNF-2A Fit

    Search our site:

The Series 350 Single Fibre Transmission Probes allow a "standard" 1/2"-20-UNF transducer port to be used for optical studies. Used in pairs, the collimated beam of this probe provides excellent transmission characteristics.

The maximum pressure is 200 bars (3000 psi), and maximum temperature is 300°C, with 400°C possible with an optional vortex cooler. Stem lengths of 153 mm (6") and 203mm (8") are available as standard, but we are always happy to quote for non-standard sizes.

Additionally, as well as transmission probes, we can offer you a variety of probes with diffuse reflectance optics, and test cells for liquids and gases.

We can supply adaptors to allow these probes (and others!) to be fitted to your equipment: let us have a sketch of your requirements and we'll send you a price. We can also supply high-temperature, armoured fibre-optic cables to connect our probes to your instruments.

Key features include:

Fitted with a sealed, abrasion resistant sapphire window in the probe tip
Maximum pressure 200 bars (3,000 psi)
Maximum temperature 300°C (400°C with Vortex Cooler)
600 micron, ultra-low-OH silica fibre with a 0.22 NA
SMA 905 compatible connector (others available)
Body manufactured in Stainless Steel 316
Certified to the specified pressures and temperatures
Helium Mass Spectrometer tested for leaks
