Series 450 Diffuse Reflectance Probes allow a single 1/2"-20-UNF transducer port to be used to measure your material properties in process and test.

Designed to fit "standard" transducer ports on materials processing plant and laboratory equipment, these probes are very useful for research and development and process monitoring applications in many industries.The probes are supplied complete with an integral 2 metre bifurcated fibre optic cable assembly, both transmitting and receiving branches fitted with SMA905 connectors. Maximum pressure is 200 bars (3,000 psi), and maximum temperature 300°C (400°C with vortex cooler). Stem lengths of 153 mm (6") and 203 mm (8") are available as standard, others to order.Additionally, as well as diffuse reflectance probes, we can offer you a variety of probes with transmission optics, and test cells for liquids and gases.

We can supply adaptors to allow these probes (and others!) to be fitted to your equipment: let us have a sketch of your requirements and we'll send you a price. We can also supply high-temperature, armoured fibre-optic cables to connect our probes to your instruments.
