The
SGA
Strain Gauge Amplifier
is a flexible, reliable and cost-effective instrument for conditioning
the signals from your strain gauge based transducers (including half-bridges),
producing two stable analogue outputs (current and voltage) in user-selectable
formats. You can configure the SGA to accept most strain gauged
transducers, reducing the need to stock several different amplifiers.
Models
are available for operation from a mains power supply (SGA/A)
or from DC (SGA/D). The SGA has an adjustable low-pass filter, and allows
simultaneous voltage and current outputs. A version is available for
conditioning LVDT
transducer signals, too.

Note that the SGA/A does not have specific approval
to Canadian regulations for mains-powered equipment, although it conforms
to EU and US standards. It is recommended that Canadian users consider
the SGA/D with a locally-purchased, approved DC power supply.
