SGA Strain Gauge Amplifier

    Search our site:

The SGA Strain Gauge Amplifier is a flexible, reliable and cost-effective instrument for conditioning the signals from your strain gauge based transducers (including half-bridges), producing two stable analogue outputs (current and voltage) in user-selectable formats. You can configure the SGA to accept most strain gauged transducers, reducing the need to stock several different amplifiers.

Models are available for operation from a mains power supply (SGA/A) or from DC (SGA/D). The SGA has an adjustable low-pass filter, and allows simultaneous voltage and current outputs. A version is available for conditioning LVDT transducer signals, too.

Key features of the SGA:

Connect up to four 350-ohm transducers in parallel
High Performance
3 Year Manufacturer's Warranty
Sensitivity from 0.1 to 30 mV/V

Simultaneous voltage and current output
Outputs ±10V, ±5V, 0-10V, 0-5V, 0-20mA, 4-20mA
Bandwidth DC to 6kHz
Low pass filter 1Hz to 5kHz

Offset up to ±70% of full scale
Simple calibration
No interaction between Gain and Zero Offset
Simple DIL switch settings - Output Mode/Sensitivity/Filter
